American Nut Wood Tables
As first custom order of Studio Flox we were asked to design and manufacture a saloon table and side table. Our client was unable to find her perfect combination of frame and table tops within the dimensions she wanted. Of course Studio Flox was eager to help out!
Our first step was to take her to the timber trade in Amsterdam to let her personally choose the type of wood for the tabletops. Her choice fell on American Nut Wood for its beautiful color. Afterwards we welded a minimalistic steel cube frame and gave it a matte black powder-coat finish.
In the end this project resulted in two elegant and minimalistic tables. Plus, most importantly, a well satisfied client!
